Bingham Lake Brick & Tile Factory

The Bingham Lake Brick & Tile Factory was first built on the north side of Bingham Lake in 1900 and was a thriving business in the county.  When the railroad would not run a spur to the lake, the factory moved one-half mile east of the village besides the tracks.  It employed 11 men at its peak and made 6,000 to 8,000 tile a day.  The factory closed in 1921 as the market declined for tile and brick.
